Project Selection - Magazine

In class we have spent some time going through examples of print journalism. Such as, The Washington Post in relation to the Nixon story. Where we learned how Woodward and Bernstein had to pull information out of their interviewees. Some aspects of print journalism that have caught my attention are the way that journalists are able to get the information to the reader in a clear way. They are also able to use the knowledge of others, through interviews, to get the most valid information. I also love that in print media journalists are able to use photos to display exactly what they are expressing through their writing. Print journalism has so many different genres to reach many different groups of people. Some skills that I posses that would be a good fit for print journalism are my ability to ask the best questions while interviewing, my ability to present information in a clear and concise way, and my ability to take entertaining photos to be able to present to the readers.
